Tuquam has chosen to offer a special kit, combining the olive wood cutting board with 3 pieces of 1 kg each of Parmigiano Reggiano Due Madonne aged 36 months, representative of the quality journey that Latteria Due Madonne has been pursuing for several years, activating completely non-GMO supply chains, which has also allowed the production of GMO-free Parmigiano-Reggiano. The project was undertaken with the aim of creating a special Parmigiano Reggiano PDO that carries a guarantee of quality and safety, both for the environment and for consumers.

*Lactose absence is the natural result of the typical Parmigiano Reggiano production process. It contains galactose in amounts less than 0.01 g/100 g.

It is recommended to store Parmigiano Reggiano vacuum-packed in the refrigerator or in a cool place. Actually, it can be exposed to room temperature for short periods without damage, but it is preferable to store it in a refrigerated environment to preserve its aromatic characteristics (between 2°C and 8°C).
If you notice, especially during the summer, that the cheese has released moisture due to heat inside the vacuum-sealed package, it is better to store it in the refrigerator before opening the package. Once it has cooled, it will be easier to remove any oily film with a paper towel.
Once removed from the vacuum-sealed package, the cheese should be stored in the refrigerator, wrapped in special food-grade wax paper or in airtight glass/plastic containers, preferably not in contact with other foods and at an optimal humidity level.

It is not advisable to freeze Parmigiano Reggiano.
