Salumificio Bonini’s Nostrano Ham is the most prized among cured meats. It’s a cut from the pig corresponding to the hind leg, rich in proteins and with low fat content. It’s easily digestible and very satisfying.

In the Bonini family, the tradition of butchers is very ancient. Aldo Bonini, with the help of his two eldest sons, Domenico and Walter, had been carrying out the practice of home-to-home pig butchering since 1950.
Their great passion and expertise in meat processing led, in 1975, to the purchase of a building by the younger brothers, Giorgio and Romano, located about 2 kilometers from Casina. They transformed it into a slaughterhouse. The brothers have retained the pig processing as it was done “in the old days”, thus ensuring the authenticity that has always distinguished their products.
All fresh meat sold by Salumificio Bonini is internally butchered 100%. The pigs come from a farm in Cavola, in the province of Reggio Emilia, where the animals are naturally raised.

Store at a temperature not exceeding 10°C. Vacuum packed. Do not puncture. Origin: Italy.
