The basic ingredients, such as Italian eggs from free-range farming, milk, cream, and mountain butter, are all fresh. The classic Pandoro can be elegantly decorated at the time of serving with a delicate dusting of powdered sugar, included in the packaging.

Tranquillo Loison, born on July 30, 1908, started his career as a baker from a young age, jotting down his first recipes in a blue notebook. With the advice of an uncle, he purchased a small oven in Motta di Costabissara in 1934, where he started his first bakery in 1938, passing on the art of baking to his son Alessandro. During the years of World War II, Alessandro began experimenting with pastry recipes, creating the first leavened products such as plum cakes and krapfen. The laboratory in via Chiesa started producing wedding cakes and Christmas sweets like spumiglie and meringues. In the 1960s, Alessandro inaugurated a new laboratory, specializing in fresh pastry and transforming Loison into a family business. Subsequently, the company established itself with the brand Dolciaria Alessandro Loison and received the prestigious Mercurio d’Oro award in 1979. Over the years, the company expanded internationally under the guidance of his nephew Dario, eventually joining the Slow Food movement. The continuous search for innovation led to the digitalization of company processes and the recognition of historic Italian brands.
